ABOUT EVE wroughtandtempered @ LOST RAIDERS (original character; unlucky creatures) opal | plurk Appearance A tall-ish (5'9"), slim young woman, with bright blue eyes and warm gray hair (though it catches the light in an almost metallic fashion, reflecting nearly blue near the ends). Her hair is usually at least a little bit out of place, and she tends to wear a lot of light, soft layers and long skirts. OR An eight-legged monstrosity of a viper/wolf hybrid. She has fur along the top of her body, shading down into pointed scales along her lower sides and then into belly scales typical of a snake; both are patterned the way a wolf's pelt would be. Her paws are more lizard-like, with longer toes and some ability to grasp, and her mouth and face in general are more snakelike. She does, however, have doofy triangle ears. (Rough sketches: 1, 2, 3 - 3 is most accurate for her face, what is consistency.) In both shapes she has a lot of scarring, the most visible of which are claw marks across her face and several old bites on her neck. Abilities She can shift back and forth between her animal form and her human one at will. In her animal form she's both very strong and fast, as you would expect from a large apex predator (although more so the latter than the former) and has a good sense of smell and hearing. She is also capable of producing two kinds of venom: a proteolytic venom, which essentially breaks down blood and tissue, and a healing one that speeds up metabolism, numbs pain, and stimulates the immune system. (Despite the obvious benefits, it can be just as bad when overdosed on). In both forms she has a limited amount of control over any kind of metal. IMPORTANT Those who can sense magic can tell she's got a strong affinity for metal, but also that she's... well, kind of gross and unsettling on an instinctive level. Her intrinsic magic is essentially that of two very different species haphazardly mashed together in a way that's like the magical equivalent of some pretty nasty body horror with a side of "holy shit this probably shouldn't exist?" Degree of sensitivity can vary, and this should more strongly affect those with stronger/more bestial instincts— but it's also something that one can be desensitized to with exposure.
